Winston: I love a nice cup of tea and a good read! What tea do you prefer? I like mine black, strong and with a bit of lemon. Not too much tannin though.

I hope the weather brightens up so you get to go play in the park. I've been kept indoors a few days because I was a bit poorly so I know how it feels :)xx

I love that quote, but then again, I'm pretty much an optimist! Have a wonderful day!!!
ReplyDeleteYou are very distinguished in your glasses! We love some tea and a good book too! I am not sure why humans do not go out in the rain - Paddy loves it when it pours - so we go no matter what the weather!

Hi Winston! We are sorry that it has been so rainy there. It is too bad that you don't get to have fun at the dog park because of it - hopefully the rain will go away and you will have lots of nice sun to play in very soon!
ReplyDeleteOh, Winston. Do you realize just how much you resemble "our" Winston? And you are even beginning to sound like him. Well, your quotes, anyway.
ReplyDeleteSo ... how'd you fare during the thunderboomers this afternoon? Maybe you were far enough away you couldn't hear them.
Enjoy the mountains, good friend. And give those kitties a good sniff for us when you are nose to nose again.
xx

Oh Winston, you look so studious in your glasses. Hope that is a good book. Our Mom likes to read and what a great thing to do on a rainy day. We are wishing you a wonderful week end.
ReplyDeleteha ha! We didn't know that woofies wore glasses! We Cats learn something new every day. That Churchill dude was pretty smart...were you named after him?
ReplyDeleteWinston Churchill's words are sure to cheer up anyone on a rainy day and I hope you learned to be pawsitive rather than negative after reading his quote!
