Update on the Becker Household!

Mom here:

Today has been Smooth Sailing! Chloe has decided to join the party and exert a little (very little) dominance. When Hutch walks by, she gives a pathetic hiss and he turns around and walks away.
I tried to take a picture of them on the bed but, by the time I got back with the camera, Hutch had stood up!
We took are first run together, if you want to read that post go to : Shawn a Marathon Runner in Training.

The only problem we have had, is his constant need to play fetch. Today,  I hid the tennis balls and will keep them as a treat for the park.

He was taking a nap with the Patrol watching!
Hmmmm, Chloe if you get any further away..you might fall off the bed!
Ok Hutch, the cat bed may be just a tad small for you! There you go again
with the pink!!
Thought I would post some pictures of our Flowering Crabapple trees!
So pretty this year!
Luckily, we have not had a big snow dumper to knock the flowers off.
Hey Hutch, the flowers are pink!
I hope you have a wonderful week and I will keep you posted on our progress!

  2. Hutch is having a MAJOR identity crisis with all of the pink, isn't he? lol. Are you SURE he is a "Hutch?" lol.
You are right, Chloe was just hanging off of the bed! lol. Love all the spring-like photos, beautiful!

  3. Chloe! Cecil! Not only are you sharing your kittie beds with Hutch, but the BigBed, too! That's a pretty clear statement that there's at least a little harmony in the household. Seein' as how we (may be a minority in your current blogroll list) REALLY want to see this work out, we're happy! Very happy! You two are beautiful kitties, with a beautiful and loving home. Hutch, cutiepie that he is, deserves a forever home just like yours. And he must like you! (Otherwise you might've been something fast and furry to play fetch with ... who needs a tennis ball in those conditions?) We're crossing our paws that he gets to stay ... and ... personally, we think he looks lovely in pink. That suggests a lot of confidence in himself, which we love.

Looking forward to your next installment,
    xx
Jake and Fergi (friends of GJ, who we made the mistake of referring to as a GirlCat when we first met that ManCat!)

Pee esS from Moma: Jake and Fergi both LOVED the smaller PetBeds for the first year or two; there must be something very secure about the closeness and coziness.

  4. Sounds like the troops are slowly adjusting. And, I might add, all in the most adorable way!

Your photos are beautiful proof that we just might see spring after all!
